Each badge represents specific accomplishments within the structured ACF training programme, creating visible recognition that motivates continued development while identifying specialist skills within cadet units.
Achievement badges mark significant milestones in cadet progression. The prestigious Master Cadet badge represents the pinnacle of cadet attainment, recognising those who have completed extensive training and demonstrated exceptional leadership potential. Similarly, training programme badges acknowledge progression through the Army Proficiency Certificate (APC) syllabus, visually marking each cadet's advancement through structured learning pathways.
Specialist qualification badges identify particular skills that contribute to unit capability. From Musicians and Drummers to Signallers and Radio Users, these distinctive insignia recognise cadets who have developed specialised knowledge that enhances overall unit performance.
