The Cadet 50ltr Bergan is the latest piece of equipment designed primarily for the cadet. It had been recognised for some time that the Bergans available to cadets within their own resources were not always the ideal piece of kit due to its size or design. Obviously cadets come in all shapes and sizes from 4ft to over 6ft, ironically they would carry the same size Bergan hence carrying too much weight. This was deemed to be unacceptable practice hence the commissioning of a Bergan to suit the needs of the cadet.
